Best pool builders in Austin, TX
1Denali Pools Austin
Denali Pools builds fully custom pools across Central Texas and is backed by Glazier Custom Homes, pairing pool construction with homebuilder-grade process. Its 104 reviews at a perfect 5.0 lead the metro. A strong pick for custom, non-cookie-cutter designs with builder-level project management.
2Pool Lux LLC
Pool Lux handles residential and commercial custom pools end to end — design, excavation, installation and landscaping. Its 100 reviews at 5.0 give it one of Austin's strongest records. Suits both backyard and light-commercial projects.
3Wild Basin Pools
Wild Basin Pools is a newer custom contractor (established 2022) already carrying a 5.0 across 32 reviews, emphasizing one-off luxury designs. The fast reputation build is notable, though its track record is shorter than the metro veterans. Good for bespoke luxury designs if you're comfortable with a younger firm.
4Cascade Custom Pools
Cascade Custom Pools has been owner-operated since 1982, making it one of Austin's longest-tenured builders, concentrated in the Westlake, Bee Cave and Dripping Springs corridor. Its 56 reviews at 4.9 across four-plus decades signal durable quality. A natural shortlist entry for the western Hill Country suburbs.
5Reliant Pools
Reliant Pools builds high-end custom pools and highlights award-winning designers experienced with Austin's tougher sites — impervious-cover limits, hard-rock excavation and steep lots. Its 34 reviews at 4.9 support that premium-design focus. Strong where the lot or permitting is complicated.
6Accredited Pools
Accredited Pools is a family-owned custom builder covering Austin's northern growth corridor — Liberty Hill, Round Rock and Georgetown — for new pools, spas and remodels. Its 5.0 across 18 reviews is a clean early record. A good local option for the north-metro suburbs.
7Athena Pools
Athena Pools builds full outdoor living spaces — pools plus cabanas, outdoor kitchens, pavers and decks — for buyers who want the whole yard handled together. Its 4.9 across 33 reviews backs that multi-trade scope. Best when the pool is one part of a larger backyard project.
8Austin Pool Times
Austin Pool Times is primarily a pool service, cleaning and repair company rather than a new-construction builder, which explains its unusually high 222-review count. At 4.8 it is a well-established service operator. Include it for maintenance and repairs, and look to the custom builders above for a new build.
