How We Rank Pool Builders

How Texas Pool Builders decides which pool builders rank at the top.

1. We start from real businesses

We pull pool builders that have a verified Google Business Profile in each Texas city. No invented companies, no fake reviews.

2. We keep builders, not service companies

A plain category search sweeps in pool cleaning, repair and remodel-only firms. We classify each business from its own profile and keep genuine pool builders, so a high-review cleaning company never outranks an actual builder in a "best pool builders" list.

3. We rank by a review-weighted score

Ordering blends each company’s Google star rating with how many reviews back it up, using a weighted average. This stops a lone 5.0-from-3-reviews listing from leapfrogging a 4.8 with 300 reviews. Ratings and counts are shown exactly as Google reports them.

4. No pay-to-play

Ranking position cannot be bought. Placement reflects the review data only. If we ever add sponsored placements, they will be labeled as such.

5. Freshness
